Arrived!

We have finally arrived, after the longest flight anyone could imagine. When we got to Heathrow the kind woman decided to drop a bomb on the whole holiday and let us know that STA Travel had not confirmed barry's visa and so would get turned back at customs in Sydney. Thanks STA Travel! She fixed it at heathrow though and so all was well.

What made the flight bad was the most grumpiest woman (machine cos she diddnt go the toilet once in 20 hrs) in the world, we have decided to name her Grumps! She would not let Beth even get out to go the toilet without moaning but all was well becuase the flight staff must have noticed the grumps as they wheeled a trolly into her foot, which at first was good, but then she moaned about it for about 4 hrs.

Sunday night was all about trying to get over the jet lag, but this was hard as we couldnt get to sleep until 2am. We had to go for a swim in the 24 hr Roof top pool to tire us.

Sydney is a lovely city but today was quite cloudy, forcast says to be sunny for rest of week though. Today we went to the aquarium, saw MASSIVE sharks, they better not be up the coast where we are going. Walked round the opera house, its nice.

Beth is missing her home comforts (especially her bed) and its only day one!
